I have travelled to Dubai twice but my most recent trip was staying at the Atlantis hotel.
The hotel itself looks pretty stunning upon arrival, the reception process was quick to stay it was very late in the evening.
The rooms are lovely, very spacious and have some beautiful views of the Beach and the Atlantis grounds. It’s good to note that only a few of the rooms have proper balconies, we had a French balcony.
After checking in were bars still open to grab a quick drink before bed, room service was available too for a bite to eat.
The breakfast at the Atlantis was out of this world! I have never seen such choice; they do literally cater for all of their guests. The chocolate fountain had to be a highlight despite it being breakfast! We ate breakfast in the Kaleidoscope restaurant, dining outside in the Dubai sunshine is a must and we were served tea and coffee to our table whilst we were choosing from the buffet.
The grounds of the Atlantis are kept very clean and nowhere seem to be very busy, great for getting a space around the many pools. There are buggies driving around the grounds frequently and guests can hop on and off as they please to go to different areas.
The waterpark at the Atlantis is brilliant! Great for thrill seekers or people who like to soak up the sun on the lazy river. The staff cannot do enough for you, we had a private cabana which meant we had soft drinks and water and our own private area for the day. You never need to carry a beach towel around with you; every sunbed has refreshed towels on. O our way back from the waterpark we popped into the Lost Chambers Aquarium for a walk around to see the sea life, it’s amazing that there is so much to see and do in one hotel. Near to the Lost Chambers entrance are many shops and some more of the bars and restaurants that the Atlantis has to offer.
Evening time at the Atlantis was my favourite; we had pre dinner drinks at the bar on Nasimi beach. The setting is beautiful with comfy seats and tables dotted around; chilled music playing and great service all whist whilst being sat inches from the beach with the Dubai skyline in the background. The evening meals I could not fault, we ate in the Saffron restaurant which is buffet style, again so much choice for every single guest. Not all restaurants are available on the half board basis, some you do have to pay a supplement for. The thing I loved was the service at the Atlantis, nothing seemed to be too much trouble and there was always plenty of staff around to help and assist, it really was 5* Service.
I can’t express how much I loved my experience at the Atlantis, fantastic for couples, families and groups of friends. I will definitely continue to recommend the Atlantis and hope to go back for a visit myself one day.
